This Spring, I got the chance to work on a Food Truck Wedding with Holy Crepe of Athens, Georgia. It was a huge success, to say the least, with amazing food and a fun outdoor vibe. If you want to try them out for yourself, you can find the Holy Crepe Food Truck at Live Wire during the week and, on weekends, at The West Broad Farmer’s Market and Sunday Center Market. The Spring wedding was one of the first large events they participated in, and since then, they have selectively taken on a few more (one event exceeding a thousand guests!). With so many catering opportunities pouring in, I was excited to hear from their owner, Saphir Grici, about his plans for taking on more weddings and events in the upcoming year.
For their catering menu, they’ll continue to offer crepes, featuring a selection of sweet and savory options with choice of fillings. Additionally, they’ll be offering individual French pastries called Caneles (pronounced Can-ay-lay), or as Saphir likes to call them, Cake Brules, for large events. If you like the idea of cupcakes or macaroons over wedding cake, these are a great option to consider. Check out the pics above to see these displayed- I am really looking forward to trying one myself!
You can visit their Facebook Page or website to find Holy Crepe’s weekly truck schedule or to contact them about catering your next event. They’re a great choice for any outdoor or informal occasion- like a laid back rehearsal dinner, engagement party, or barmitzvahs/batmitzvahs. And with football season getting started, they’re a perfect choice for your next tailgating party!
